New BCS WiC Webinar Series launching Autumn 2026

Announcing our new Beyond the Stethoscope webinar series launching this Autumn.

Cardiology trainees receive excellent clinical education but relatively little structured guidance on career development, wellbeing, financial planning, leadership and international opportunities. This webinar series aims to complement existing educational programmes by providing practical advice from women who have successfully navigated these challenges. Our aim is to create space for reflection, support, and shared learning, while amplifying the voices and experiences of women shaping the future of cardiology.

The first four sessions are taking place monthly on Zoom on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between September and December  2026, 7-8pm.

Topics and dates:

Navigating the Early Years of Cardiology Training - Thursday 10th September.

Choosing a sub-specialty: Interventional cardiology and Electrophysiology - Thursday 1st October.

Finding Work-Life Balance in Cardiology - Tuesday 3rd November.

Building a career as BAME/IMG in Cardiology – Lessons, Challenges and Pathways to  Success - Tuesday 1st December.

All Autumn sessions now confirmed and open for registrations.

Further sessions TBA for 2027.
